The Vanguard Mud Run is an all‑outdoor, all‑mud adventure built for everybody; every shape, every size, every fitness level. If you can laugh, crawl, climb, or splash, you belong on this course.

What is included:

Early‑bird perks: a swag bag, a finisher medal, a surprise gift, and your exclusive event shirt.... a little extra hype to kick off your race day.

What do I bring?

Bring the basics: photo ID and your Possum Creek Mud Park waiver

Bring the bonuses: a change of clothes, a waterproof phone pouch, baby wipes, and a towel...because mud happens.

When is the next run?

May 16, 2026

How old do I have to be to participate?

8 years old with an accompanied guardian.

Do I need to sign in and pay to join the run?

Yes. You must register and pay online so we know who is actually showing up to sprint, slide, and fling themselves through the course instead of just cheering from the sidelines.

What do I receive for competing?

Top finishers cash out. First, second, and third place snag a monetary prize, a medal, and the full gift‑bag glory.

What if I want to run but not compete for prizes?

All competitors will start at 0700. All times starting at 0730 are for the non-competitors.

What time is registration?

Registration for the 0700 race runs from 0600 to 0645. After that, each race time will close registration 15 minutes before its start.

Can I come to watch?

Spectators are absolutely welcome. If they want to cheer, laugh, or witness the chaos from a safe distance, we have space for them.

How many obstacles?

We have sixteen obstacles this year...a perfect balance of fun, chaos, and mud.

Is there an option to register teams?

Teams welcome. Bonding guaranteed. Clean clothes not included.

Is the mud run refundable?

All payments are nonrefundable. Once you are in, we are building the event around you.
